Current Bass Bonanza

You are the drifting fish. The current is packed with hooks, nets, coral and sudden traps. Dodge every hazard, collect bubbles and pearls, and swim as far as possible.

🫧 How to Play

1

Control the Drifting Fish

Unlike other fishing games, in Current Bass Bonanza you play as the fish. Your orange fish swims automatically to the right while the ocean world scrolls toward you. Your only job is to steer up and down!

2

Steer Through the Current

Move your mouse or finger up and down to guide the fish through the current. On keyboard, use Arrow Up/Down or W/S and react before hazards close the lane.

3

Dodge the Drift Hazards

Hooks swing through the current at different depths. Nets block large sections of water. Red and purple corals grow from the seafloor. Any contact costs a life — and on hard difficulty you only have one!

4

Collect Treasures

Bubbles, pearls, and starfish float in the water. Swim through them to collect points. The longer your consecutive collection streak, the bigger the bonus multiplier. Pearls are worth 50 pts — worth chasing!

5

Grab Power-Ups

Three rare power-ups appear occasionally: 🛡 Shield absorbs one obstacle hit. ⚡ Speed Boost makes you swim faster and increases score multiplier. 🧲 Magnet pulls nearby collectibles toward you for 6 seconds!

⚠️ Obstacles

🪝 Hook

Basic fishing hook hanging from a line. Appears at various heights. Easy to spot by the glowing danger aura. Dodge above or below.

🪱 Baited Hook

A hook with a juicy worm attached. More tempting — don't fall for it! Same dodge mechanic as regular hooks.

🔱 Triple Hook

Three hooks joined together — wider danger zone. Appears in harder difficulty zones. Requires precise positioning to dodge.

🕸 Net

The most dangerous obstacle. A wide fishing net that covers a large vertical span. Look for the gap — or use a Shield to power through!

🪸 Red Coral

Grows upward from the seafloor. Static position — just swim above it. Gets more frequent at higher distances.

💜 Purple Coral

Same as red coral but slightly smaller. Often appears in pairs with red coral for tighter navigation challenges.
